HOW DOES A HEADSET KNOW WHAT TO SHOW ME?

Cameras inside and outside of headsets track the position of the headset and any hand-held controllers. Like your smartphone, the headset’s internal sensors sense the tilt and rotation of your head. Computers generate graphics to match the position of your head and hands.

INSIDE-OUT TRACKING

Cameras in the VR headset map out the space around you–walls, tabletops, floor–so you can move around the virtual world.
